In the following visualizations, we show an industry track employee turn the brake wheel to release the brake sending the rail car down an incline.

In an effort to escape the rolling rail car, the employee stepped on the rail, the rolling wheel pinned his foot to the rail and he fell to the ground. With his right foot trapped, his left leg fell across the track and was amputated by the rolling wheel.

By combining the expertise of the Fay Engineering Graphics Department, a mechanical engineer, and a biomechanical engineer, an accurate visualization was created to explain the facts of the case. Once the parties in this case viewed the results of the reconstruction and the visualization of the facts, the case quickly settled. Visualizations can be done in a cost effective manner with the highest level of mathematical accuracy. In the example above, client resources were preserved by combining modifying stock images from our library of images.
